Privacy Policy.
Last updated: April 21, 2026.
InfoProxy is hardware you own, running on your own network. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and what we do with it.
The short version
- We collect what we need to sell you a device and keep it working.
- We do not log, inspect, or store the traffic that flows through your device.
- We do not sell personal information to anyone, ever.
- If we collect it, you can ask for it or ask us to delete it.
1. What we collect
Account and order information
When you order an InfoProxy device, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information (processed through our payment provider. We never see your card number).
Device telemetry
Devices send minimal telemetry to our servers: firmware version, uptime, and a heartbeat so we know the device is online. This does not include the contents of any traffic routed through the device.
Support conversations
When you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you and so the next support person has context.
Website analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics on infoproxy.co to understand aggregate usage (page views, referrers, device categories). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. What we do not collect
- The contents of traffic routed through your InfoProxy device.
- Destination URLs or hostnames your proxy sessions connect to.
- Credentials for any third-party platform you use the proxy with.
- Any browsing activity that happens on your home network but not through the proxy.
The device is architected so that the traffic it routes never leaves your home network except to its destination.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Fulfill your order and deliver your device.
- Provide firmware updates and the management portal.
- Respond to your support emails.
- Send occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (payment processor, email delivery, shipping carriers). They receive only what they need and are bound to confidentiality.
- Law enforcement when required by a valid legal process.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
Order records are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically seven years). Support conversations are retained as long as they are useful for helping you. Telemetry data is aggregated after 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to certain uses.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Email privacy@infoproxy.co to exercise any of these rights. We reply within 30 days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information: encrypted transport, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular review. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. International transfers
InfoProxy is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer.
9. Children
InfoProxy is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and posted on this page.
