Terms of Service.
Last updated: April 21, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of InfoProxy hardware and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By ordering an InfoProxy device or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
InfoProxy sells hardware devices that act as residential proxies on your own home or office network. The Service includes the device, firmware, and first-year access to a management portal and firmware updates. "InfoProxy Pro" additionally includes access to an on-device private runtime.
2. Hardware purchase
When you order an InfoProxy device, you are buying the device outright. Title passes to you on delivery. The Service fee covers firmware updates, support, and the management portal; after the first year, you may continue the Service at the listed subscription rate or let it lapse. The device continues to function as a LAN proxy either way.
3. 30-day refund
If you are not satisfied with your InfoProxy device, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the hardware price, minus any return shipping cost. The device must be returned in working condition. To start a return, email hello@infoproxy.co.
4. Hardware warranty
We warrant each InfoProxy device against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery. During the warranty period, if a device fails due to a defect, we will, at our option, repair or replace the device free of charge. The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accident, misuse, or unauthorized modification.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function.
- Damage from power surges, liquid, or environmental conditions outside normal office use.
- Devices with tampered serial numbers or opened housings.
5. Subscription renewal
After the first year, the Service renews monthly at the then-current rate ($8/mo for Nano, $15/mo for Pro at launch). You may cancel at any time from the management portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months of Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party platforms you interact with through InfoProxy. You are responsible for your own activity routed through the device. We do not monitor traffic; we also do not indemnify you for platform decisions made by third parties.
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Interfere with another person's lawful use of networks or services.
- Distribute malware, spam, or content that is unlawful where sent or received.
- Resell Service access to third parties without a separate written agreement.
7. Firmware and updates
InfoProxy devices receive firmware updates during the Service period. Updates may add, change, or remove features. We try to preserve stability but reserve the right to make changes necessary for security, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, other than the express hardware warranty in Section 4. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with any third-party platform, or any particular outcome from use of the Service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InfoProxy's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the device and Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold InfoProxy harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
